ਅਨਿਲ ਕੁੰਬਲੇ ਨੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਲਈ ਖੇਡਦਿਆਂ 2 ਦਹਾਕਿਆਂ ਤਕ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕੀਤੀ, ਅਤੇ ਹੁਣ ਇਹ ਖਿਡਾਰੀ ਕੋਚ ਬਣਕੇ ਟੀਮ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਤਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰੇਗਾ। ਅਨਿਲ ਕੁੰਬਲੇ ਨੇ ਟੀਮ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਲਈ 132 ਟੈਸਟ ਮੈਚ ਖੇਡੇ ਜਿਸ 'ਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ 619 ਵਿਕਟ ਦਰਜ ਹਨ। ਅਨਿਲ ਕੁੰਬਲੇ ਨੇ ਬੱਲੇਬਾਜ਼ੀ 'ਚ ਵੀ ਕਮਾਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ 1 ਸੈਂਕੜਾ ਅਤੇ 5 ਅਰਧ-ਸੈਂਕੜੇ ਠੋਕੇ। ਵਨਡੇ 'ਚ ਵੀ ਅਨਿਲ ਕੁੰਬਲੇ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਧਮਾਕੇਦਾਰ ਰਿਹਾ। 271 ਵਨਡੇ ਮੈਚਾਂ 'ਚ ਕੁੰਬਲੇ ਨੇ 337 ਵਿਕਟ ਝਟਕੇ।

ਟੀਮ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਨਵਾਂ ਕੋਚ। ਭਾਰਤ ਦਾ ਜੰਬੋ ਹੁਣ ਟੀਮ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਚਿੰਗ ਦਵੇਗਾ। ਜੰਬੋ ਯਾਨੀ ਕਿ ਅਨਿਲ ਕੁੰਬਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਟੀਮ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਕੋਚ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਦਾਰੀ ਸੌਂਪੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ।

ਕੋਚ ਦੀ ਸਿਲੈਕਸ਼ਨ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਦਾਰੀ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਟੀਮ ਦੇ ਤਿੰਨ ਦਿੱਗਜਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ। ਸੌਰਵ ਗਾਂਗੁਲੀ, ਵੀ.ਵੀ.ਐਸ. ਲਕਸ਼ਮਣ ਅਤੇ ਸਚਿਨ ਤੇਂਦੁਲਕਰ ਨੇ ਕੋਚ ਦੇ ਅਹੁਦੇ ਲਈ ਆਈਆਂ ਅਰਜ਼ੀਆਂ ਚੋਂ ਮੁੱਖ ਦਾਵੇਦਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਾਰਟ ਲਿਸਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਇਸਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਕੈਂਡੀਡੇਟਸ ਦੀ ਇੰਟਰਵਿਊ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ।

ਕੁੰਬਲੇ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਕੋਚ ਚੁਣੇ ਜਾਣ 'ਤੇ ਟੀਮ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਗਜ ਬੇਹੱਦ ਖੁਸ਼ ਹਨ। ਵਿਰਾਟ ਕੋਹਲੀ, ਯੁਵਰਾਜ ਸਿੰਘ, ਸੁਰੇਸ਼ ਰੈਨਾ, ਭੱਜੀ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਕੀ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਗਜਾਂ ਨੇ ਅਨਿਲ ਕੁੰਬਲੇ ਦੇ ਕੋਚ ਚੁਣੇ ਜਾਣ 'ਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ।
