ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਲੋਪ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਦੇ ਨੇਤਾ ਪਾਰਤਾਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਜਵਾ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, "ਜੇ ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੋਟਾਂ ਵੰਡਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਤਾਂ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਡਾ ਫਾਇਦਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਅਮਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਮਰਥਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਨਿਲੋਕਹਰੀ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਸੀਟ ਲਈ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਰਥਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਸੀਟ ਤੋਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰੀ ਵਾਪਸ ਲੈਣ ਦਾ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ... ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ..."
