ਖਡੂਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਤੋਂ ਆਜ਼ਾਦ ਚੋਣ ਲੜ ਰਹੇ ਵਾਰਿਸ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਜਥੇਬੰਦੀ ਦੇ ਮੁਖੀ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਮਾਤਾ-ਪਿਤਾ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਵੋਟ ਪਾ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਵੋਟ ਦਾ ਇਸਤੇਮਾਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਪੱਤਰਕਾਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਹੋਇਆਂ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਰਫ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਗੋਂ ਸਾਰੀ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਸੰਗਤ ਦਾ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਉਹ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਵੋਟ ਦਾ ਇਸਤੇਮਾਲ ਸਭ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਰਜ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਗਲ ਦਾ ਖਿਆਲ ਰੱਖਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸਾਡੇ ਆਪਸੀ ਭਾਈਚਾਰਾ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਠੇਸ ਨਾ ਪਹੁੰਚੇ।
